Why It Matters to Me
years on the product side of an enterprise sms platform.
I spent years on the product side of an SMS platform at a large enterprise SaaS company, helping customers get through A2P 10DLC registration with The Campaign Registry and the carriers. Even with a support team and people who had seen hundreds of these, getting a campaign across the line took real work.
no compliance person. no support team.
The dental office, the salon, and the plumber do it alone. Providers make it easy to buy a number and hard to understand why a registration bounced. One vague rejection line, then weeks of waiting with no one to explain it.
Cleared to Send gives a small business the help an enterprise customer gets. The product is a lifecycle, and the name says it: Get Ready, Send, Stay Ready.
Problem It Solves
Before a business can text customers from a regular 10-digit number, it has to register its brand and campaign. Reviewers check identity, opt-in, sample messages, and the privacy policy. Each rejection costs one to four weeks, and the notice rarely says what to change.
every rejection costs weeks, not minutes.
Rejection notices are one vague sentence passed along from the carrier review
Small businesses have no compliance person to translate them or check a package before it goes in
Every avoidable mistake means another full review cycle before they can text a customer
What I Built
my favorite piece: the decoder.
Fix: paste a rejection, answer two questions, and get a diagnosis mapped to the known rejection reasons plus a corrected, submit-ready package. Reads Twilio, Telnyx, and Bandwidth rejection codes
The decoder: the homepage breaks a rejection notice apart phrase by phrase and says, in plain English, what the reviewer looked for and didn't find
Clear: a guided first registration with use-case-matched sample messages and a pre-submission audit against the 14-reason kill-list
Send and Stay Ready: write, check, and compare messages, plus a weekly rule scan that emails the businesses a rule change affects
One engine, clear AI boundaries: Claude judges consent language and packages against the kill-list in a strict structured format. Deterministic code owns EIN checks, HELP/STOP templates, the free lookup, and billing
SEO as acquisition: 100+ prerendered pages for rejection reasons, providers, error wording, guides, and industries, plus a free, no-login rejection lookup that runs entirely in the browser
Free-first pricing: free diagnosis, a free account and first corrected package, then $19.99 per registration. The paywall is enforced on the server
Cleared Evidence and lifecycle email: private, versioned consent proof, and a "did it pass?" email that feeds real outcomes back into the kill-list
What I Learned
trust first, then the fix.
skipped fields became “evidence.” now every cause needs a source.
Translate before you diagnose
A rejected business owner doesn't trust a fix until they understand the problem. The phrase-by-phrase decoder earns that trust first, which is why the homepage now starts with "paste your rejection."
An LLM in a compliance product needs a rubric and a floor
Claude reviews like a carrier would, but only against the written kill-list, in a strict structured format. Deterministic code handles anything with a right answer, like EIN checks, and wins when the two disagree.
The model treats everything in its context as evidence
Skipped form fields once reached Claude as "(not provided)," and it listed them as rejection causes. Every cause must now be grounded in the rejection text or something the business actually shared.
Your infrastructure is part of your SEO
A Worker on www skipped the redirect rule, trailing slashes sent crawlers through redirects, and zone-wide bot protection blocked my own scheduled jobs. Fix the class of problem, not the instance.
Price for the behavior you need
Pricing went from $79.99 credits and a $39.99/month plan to free-first: free diagnosis, a free first package, then $19.99 each. The early goal is completed submissions with known outcomes, not revenue.
Where It's Going
every real outcome sharpens the kill-list.
NOWFirst-customer validation: learn whether submit-ready packages actually cut down the 10DLC rejection loop
NOWClose the feedback loop. Every approved or rejected submission reported back sharpens the kill-list
NEXTVerify the EIN and legal name against IRS records before TCR does
LATERMore clearance modules: WhatsApp templates and business verification, then email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
